Pool Rules

For the pool rules, a resident is defined as a person whose assessments are paid to date and who lives in Summer Chase I, Summer Lake Estates,Summer Chase II (lots 101 to 120), Summer Chase II Buy-ins and The Estates at Summer Chase Buy-ins.
Unique Pool Management manages Summer Chase pool during all hours and is responsible for the smooth operation of the pool and the safety of the residents at the pool. Contact 314-455-6350.
Hours of Operation
Normal Operating Hours - 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Adult swims can be called every hour for 10 minutes. At this time, only lifeguards and residents 18 and older will be allowed in the pool.
Inclement/hazardous weather may require the pool to be closed without prior notice.
Admittance
A pool member present their daily pool pass to the lifeguard to gain admittance.
All children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult or childcare provider 14 years of age or older.
Childcare providers should use the pool pass belonging to the resident to take the resident’s children to the pool.
The baby pool is for children 5 and under, only, and an adult must accompany each child. Lifeguards do not supervise the baby pool area.
Guests
Each address having a valid pool pass is allowed 6 guests per day.
Childcare providers are not allowed to have personal guests accompany them to the pool.
Safety and Health
No dogs or other pets are allowed in the pool area.
Admittance to the pool will be refused to all persons having any contagious disease or infectious condition.
No glass items are allowed in the pool area.
Personal conduct in the pool area must be such that the safety of the individual and others is not jeopardized.
Profanity will not be tolerated and is cause for suspension from the pool.
Running and dangerous or rough play is prohibited.
No child will be permitted into the deep end of the pool unless they can demonstrate the ability to swim one width of the pool and tread water for at least 30 seconds.
No swimming is permitted under or near the diving board. After diving, the swimmer needs to swim toward either side of the pool, not toward the diving board.
Air mattress, swim fins, masks and other accessories will be allowed in the shallow end only and will be limited to times when the lifeguards deem their usage safe.
Super soakers or Frisbees are not allowed in the pool area.
Unnecessary conversation or distracting the lifeguards is not permitted. Lifeguards only are allowed on the Lifeguard Chairs.
Chairs and lounges are primarily for the use of adults. Children should relinquish pool furniture if none is available for adults.
Maintenance
Only swimming apparel will be allowed in the pool. No shorts or cut offs.
Babies are required to wear swim diapers.
Food, drinks, gum, and tobacco will not be allowed within 10 feet of the pool.
Adults and children are expected to put their trash in proper trash receptacles.
Suspension of Privileges
Lifeguards and the Summer Chase Trustees have the authority to suspend pool privileges to anyone abusing the rules and / or pool property.
